About Jason
What happens when you reach the pinnacle of your sport behind two of the best swimmers of all time?
Jason lived in the shadow of greats such as Ian Thorpe and Grant Hackett. Narrowly missing out on his childhood dream, to compete at the Olympics, he left the sport thinking he had never achieved anything…
Jason Cram, a dedicated competitive swimmer for 20 years, had an impressive career with numerous accolades under his belt. Working with the world’s best coaches, five years on the Australian Swim Team, a Gold Medalist at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships and World Lifesaving Championships.
Drifting into retirement, Jason spent the next two decades exploring various career paths, from setting up surf life saving events to managing guests on Disney Cruise Line and working on billionaires’ private yachts. Through these experiences, he realised that life is made up of different chapters, and swimming was just one part of his story.
Today, Jason has found purpose in helping people who have experienced trauma related to water. He guides them in rediscovering the passion, healing, and joy that being immersed in water can bring.
Jason’s inspiring story shows us that even if you don’t reach the pinnacle of your sport or career, it doesn’t mean that you have failed. Life has a lot more to offer, and sometimes it takes unexpected turns to lead us to our next chapter
